Scrapbooking made easy: How to use Post-it® Products to create amazing pages

Scrapbooking is a great way to make sure all those mementos and photos you’ve held onto for years don’t just get forgotten on your computer or in a drawer. Instead, you get to flex your creative muscles and make displays that pull lots of different memories together into a story you can share with friends and family, or just page through on your own when you want to relive your adventures. Here are few ways to make scrapbooking a little easier.

  • Organise your supplies.

Set up your scrapbooking station and label and organise your supplies. When you’ve got everything arranged neatly, it’s much easier to create pages efficiently, without spending time searching for what you need.

    Organize your supplies

  • Practice.

Use Post-it® Page Markers to practice lettering captions or titles before you actually write them on your page. They’re also useful to help plan out spacing or mark spots for particular photos before you break out the glue.

    Practice

  • Mask for stamps.

Post-it® Notes are perfect for creating a blank space with a stamped edge. Just place a Post-it® Note down to protect the area you want to leave blank, stamp all around the edges, and remove when you’re done.

  • Decorate.

Post-it® Products also make great decorations to add to your scrapbook. Try punching out patterns from a Post-it® Full Adhesive Note, layering Post-it® Page Markers or Post-it® Tabs, or trimming page markers to make decorative flags or banners. For even more design inspiration, try adding some Scotch® Brand Washi or Expressions tape.

Next time you sit down for some quality scrapbooking time, remember to grab some Post-it® Products and put them to work helping you capture your best memories.
